Service Description

Counseling sessions are intended for breastfeeding parents who are experiencing challenges with breastfeeding, such as sore/painful breasts or nipples, engorgement, trouble latching, low milk supply, delayed production of mature milk, breast refusal, transition from early supplementation, and others. Counseling sessions will typically include an observed feed with pre and post weighs to assess latch and milk transfer, with the collaborative creation of a care plan to address breastfeeding challenges. All visits are conducted at client's home.
